Bring a bathing suit in summer and snow chains in winter! 

(Depending on weather, the county sets up chain control and you need either snow chains or AWD/4x4 to pass the chain control.)  During wintertime (rain/ snow/ icy), an all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended to climb the driveway.  Chains can also help.  

Cell reception spotty in the area - map your way to the house before driving!  Guests are responsible for sorting trash/ recycling and then removing trash on their last day. Instructions are provided for guests for delivering trash to the Avery Transfer station (free of charge).
